Despite the clear derpiness on my part of this picture, looking at you in it makes me smile. I am so glad to have had you in my life. I know that most people do not get a chance to get to know their Grandparents in their lifetime and I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to do so.
Regardless of the difficult life that you have lived, you remained to be the most patient and kind person I know. My only wish is to have been better Granddaughter for you. But for all the times I never said the things I should have, I thank you for all the times that you understood. My heart is hurting for your loss, but I take comfort in my memory of you. I love you, Mama. Rest in peace.
